The IADMS Bulletin for Dancers & Teachers is produced and published by the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS). The Bulletin translates scientific research into accessible, practitioner-oriented articles for dancers, educators, parents, and others invested in dancer health and safety. Drawing on leading peer-reviewed academic sources, including the Journal of Dance Medicine & Science, the Bulletin exists to bridge research and practice in dance medicine, science and education.

Vision for the IADMS Bulletin for Dancers & Teachers
The Bulletin exists to bridge research and practice in dance medicine, science and education. Our vision is to create a publication that:
- Connects: Translates peer-reviewed research into accessible, engaging and practically useful insights for dancers and teachers.
- Respects: Meets educators and artists where they are, valuing their lived knowledge and artistry alongside scientific evidence.
- Empowers: Provides tools, strategies and resources that can be applied immediately in studios, classrooms, and rehearsal spaces.
- Communicates: Uses clear writing, visuals and multimodal formats (e.g. diagrams, videos, lesson plans, pedagogical frameworks) to make ideas tangible and adaptable.
- Dialogues: Encourages reflection, adaptation and feedback, positioning the Bulletin as a space for ongoing conversation between researchers, teachers and dancers.
- Centers wellbeing and artistry: Ensures that every piece contributes to healthy, inclusive and sustainable dance practices.
